My father used to put a water hose down their holes and try to drown them. Don't remember if it worked or not, but I thought I'd throw it out there. :)Helpful Reply -

We built a windmill. Can be purchased at farm and ranch suppliers. I couldn't afford one so my very crafty ex hubby built one out of stuff in both our garages and one trip to the hardware store. Worked like magic. Now I have 6+ dogs running around and do not need it so we gave it away. It is the vibration that they do not like and tunnel along. I did once try a trap and release, but they are hard to trap and mean little guys.Helpful Reply -

the only thing that has worked for us is the "Gopher Getters" cyanide bombs and it only really worked when we have used them in the fall once they begin to hibernate.Helpful Reply -

If you or if you know anyone who has snakes, keep the skin when they shed and place a good long piece in each in hole. They won't be back. Tried and true!Helpful Reply -

Juicy Fruit gum. I put a lot of it down their holes. They love the taste and it kills them in 24 hours.Helpful Reply -
