How do I turn bifold closet doors into barn doors?
I have 2 bifold doors that I want to cover to look like a barn door, but still function properly like bifold doors.
Hi Alicia, you can add trim to make them look more stately. You could also consider paint or even wallpaper. I know folks have also been converting sliders to hinged doors too.
I happened to be in a home decoration store yesterday and happened upon a cabinet that had a beacg scene painted on burlap and glued to the two doors. Really very cute and I would think the same concept could apply to sliding doors. Another idea would be to put up pictures of family and fun times in some flat picture frames with a temovable (like the ones used on a refrigerator, you could cover to a room theme).

You could paint them and put on vinyl to decorate them. You could use flowers, polka dots, or another simple pattern vinyl. I would only use vinyl if you're sure she won't peel them off.
