What is your project?

Cleaning it? Spray with a 50/50 mixture of blue dawn & white cleaning vinegar then wash with a high pressure hose.

Paint it? Clean it, scuff with sand paper or steel wool, wipe down with denatured alcohol, and you are ready to prime and paint with whatever type paint the material dictates.

Hi Cynthia: What is it you need to know? How to clean it? For the glass patio stuff, mix a solution of water, white vinegar (a cup should be more than enough), and 1/2 teaspoon of liquid dish soap or baby shampoo in a bucket. Using a soft cloth or sponge, wipe down all windows, outdoor table glass, lantern glass, patio light glass, and so on until clean. Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.

For the plastic and metal furniture, most commercial cleaners are too abrasive to be used on resin and metal lawn furniture. But you won’t have to worry about scratching or dulling the surface if you clean your resin furniture with a wet sponge dipped in baking soda. Wipe using circular motions, then rinse well. Or you can use dishwasher detergent mixed with hot water is a great option for cleaning outdoor vinyl and plastic furniture. Add 1/4 cup powdered or liquid dish washing detergent to 1 gallon of water, stir well,and apply it to the furniture using a sponge or spray bottle; let it set for 15 minutes, wipe and rinse well.
