I would go with the RustOleum Tub & Tile kit.

No matter which kit you use, the prep work is super important.

Very clean, no rust, no mineral deposits, no mold, no soap scum.

If you've got rust at the sink, then that has to be cleaned and stabilized first.

Hi Pat, yes you can. The best way is to use a paint that's designed for shower trays and that's totally resistant to detergents (even bleach). Your local hardware should be able to guide you. I have heard great things about RustOleum Tub & Tile, but I've only seen it in white.
