Peel and stick tiles could do the trick! You can take them with you when you move. :)

Contact paper would be quick, easy, and inexpensive. You can also do peel & stick tile.

sometimes contact paper is hard to remove and it will take a lot of elbow grease to get it off- the peel and stick tiles are your best bet or peel and stick wallpaper

Metal "ceiling tile" backsplash adhered with 3m velcro strips could work. Good luck!

Peel and stick tiles

I doubt if double-sided sticky pads will be sufficiently robust to hold the textured metal panels in Homeroad's link upright on an uneven surface such as a tiled wall, without popping out or sliding down.
