CERAMIC TILE WETSAW
If you don't need to cut the tiles, use a good heavy duty all purpose scissors or a sharp blade to cut the matting the tiles are on to fit the area.
We use a box cutter to cut thru the plastic backing. Put an old scrap of plywood under it so you can use good pressure and not cut thru anything important.
Wet saw if it is solid pieces, if on a net type backing any scissors you have that will cut through the netting. You can rent a wet saw at Home Depot or any tool supply.
I have a pair of heavy duty scissors that are only used for cutting through heavy stuff like the netting on tile sheets. You can also use a box cutter or any other tool that is comfortable for you to handle. Make sure the scissors are comfortable in your hand before you buy them. If you have to cut many, you'll really appreciate the comfort.
