Hi there, yes you can put vinyl tile over linoleum floors. Just make sure the linoleum is VERY clean before you start and in good shape.
I think if the linoleum is really clean and pretty smooth, these tiles would work okay. I have used them in a rental house and they don't last very long, but that's with renters, not in my home.

I agree! Yes you can. Needs to be level, smooth, and super clean.
You must be sure the existing Lino is clan and smooth, then start your first row with a chalkline to ensure you run them straight.
