Hi Carla, You could take come wood to build the headboard and then add the drawers vertically so that they act as shelves. You could also just mount the drawers on the wall so they act as shelves.
Hi Carla. Ok so this goes in the other direction, where they took a headboard and turned it into a hutch. But the style of the headboard looks like something you might be able to copy with your desk drawers.
Hello Carla. If you build a box the same width as the headboard, and lay the box on its side to face you, you could mount the drawers on top of the box to create a bookcase.
Hello Carla,
Screw them on to a large enough board or existing headboard in the desired design from the back. start at the top and place the other one accordingly. Should not take too long to do!
I guess you could hang the drawers on either side of the bed to use like shelves.
You could hang them on the side of the bed like end tables

I would hang them on the wall ... What a great project o have
Hi! Youcan mount them on the wall to a plywood backing at the right height. Good luck!
I think it will depend on the dimensions of the drawers and how you plan to make use of them incorporated into the headboard. You might try laying them out in several configurations and see what you might need to fill in. Search bookshelf headboards online for extra inspiration.

Hello Carla,
If Drawers can take a shelf inside , add little shelf supports either side and cut timber or MDF to drop in. Add them either side of a 5' door or board. Use metal Straps at the back to fix them in place. Stain or paint them to suit. Attach the headboard to the wall and then push the bed up to it. Hope that helps.
