Reuse Your Old Jeans to Make a Home Decor

I don’t like to throw away my clothes. Usually I give them or I try to repurpose them to make diy home decor. For my old jeans I decided to use the pockets and make a wall decor.

First thing is to cut the pockets of your jeans with scissors.

I used only one pocket but you can make 2 to make 2 wall decors.

I found a Dollar Tree sign that I’ve used for a previous project. You can use any Dollar Tree sign and paint it white or any other color. I like this one because it looks like shiplap.

I then glued the pocket to the bottom part of the sign with hot glue.

To hang the sign I decided to cut a small piece of my jeans.

I had these fasteners (not sure if it’s the correct name) and I thought they would be perfect to attach my fabric to my sign. I made a small hole and insert the fasteners through the fabric and the sign which already have 2 holes.

For the finished touch I used faux lavender I bought at Walmart and hang the sign to my window.

I love it! Who doesn't have an old pair of favorite jeans to do this project? I've actually been wanting to do some kind of project with denim and the dollar store sign opens the possibilities! Thank you so much for sharing!
