Shabby Black - Not Your Grandma's Tables
by

These tables were originally plain, boring, simple and extremely beat up. I decided to give them a makeover
Hand painted shabby black with cherry stain and pretty bird print on drawers
Before
Tops were beat up, scratched up and dinged up. They were sanded down to bare wood but were still 'imperfect' due to the extent of the beating they had taken over their lifetime,
Base and body were hand painted shabby jet black and then distressed to reveal bits of wood underneath
A cherry stain was applied on the outer portion of the table top and distressed as well to work with the character of the tables using gelato gel stain in dark cherry
Pretty bird print applied to the drawer fronts gives an extra unique touch
The original wood drawer pulls have been replaced with black crystal knobs
These tables completely transformed are not your grandma's end tables
If you like unique and shabby chic, but not a fan of white distressed, these tables are sure to wow your guests!
