How to marble paper using only shaving cream and food coloring. Simple, inexpensive, and perfect to add an extra touch to paper.
Materials needed:
Tape off the edges of your paper with painter's tape.
Fill the bottom of your baking tray with shaving cream.
Add 4-6 drops of your main color of food coloring.
Mix gently with a spatula. Don't mix too much or the colors will be muddled. Dip your toothpick into your accent color(s) and swirl the accent color into the shaving cream.
Put your pieces of paper into the shaving cream. One batch of shaving cream usually produces 4-5 marbled pieces of paper.
Press the paper into the shaving cream.
Gently lift the paper out of the shaving cream mix.
Use a ruler or folder to get the excess shaving cream off. Wipe the remaining shaving cream off with a paper towel.
All your have left to do is decide what you are going to use your beautiful paper for!
