An Old Wooden Closet Door Faux Painted And Decorated

I ha been wanting a vintage door to tuck into my living room. But much to find around my area so I crafted a faux one. I had it just sitting in my shed ready to be trashed so I thought I would try a vintage look on it.
I used a white and an expresso just working the paints over each other and painting some faux trim.
For some interest I added some stenciling
I crafted some corn husks from brown bag material and some flowers from burlap which are super easy to make , just folding a piece of burlap in half and tightly rolling it then gluing the end. For the corn husks I just cut some pointy strips of grocery bag and shaded them with some watered down white paint.

Nancy Spencer Carlson on Oct 19, 2015this is genius! Even if you had to go to one of the bigbox stores and buy a flat unfinished door, that would only be about $20. Great job on the faux paint!
