Here's how to make your own Faberge-Inspired Christmas ornament (on a shoestring budget). This ornament could be made by children or adults alike, and can easily be made toddler-friendly (in other words: unbreakable)! This ornament was created for the 2015 Gifts
I used a clear plastic ornament as my starting point (because I was creating this for a friend with toddlers). I swirled clear matte varnish inside of the ornament, coating it completely, and then poured in some very fine white glitter.
I used a combination of hot glue and tacky craft glue to attach lengths of navy ribbon and white braid to the ornament.
I embellished my ornament using some glue-on half pearls from the dollar store. The perfect budget-friendly decoration!
