Reupholstered Thrift Shop Ottoman
When I started our living room makeover, the vision was to lighten and brighten the space, while maintaining some warmth to get us through the winter months. Fabrics are always a good way to add new life to a space or give an old piece of furniture a new look for less.
I was looking for a small ottoman to cozy up a corner by the fireplace, but everything I found was either to costly or in the wrong fabric.
I came across this ottoman for $3 at the thrift shop and thought it would be an easy reupholstery project.
I simply removed the old fabric, used it as a pattern and sewed a new cover using belgian linen fabric.
Now we have a "new" versatile piece of furniture that cost less than $10.
