These Shoes Are Meant for... Storage.

I love to repurpose unusual things as storage, and when I thrifted these wooden shoes last summer I thought they were the coolest things.
I'm in the middle of a complete craft room reorganization and when going through some stashes I found the shoes again. I put them away for a rainy day project and forgot all about them.
Little Miss Pixie was my assistant with this quick and easy project.
All I had to do was find two picture frame hangers in my stash and nail them into the soles of the shoes.
Then just a couple of nails in the wall later... they were up. So easy/
Now I can keep the things that I use the most like my scissors, my multi-head screwdriver, pens, pencils, and sharpies handy but off my desk.
Now I don't expect that you can just go out and find a pair of wooden shoes to hang on your wall, but look through your own stuff and see what unusual things you might be able to repurpose as cool storage.
Enjoyed the project?

What a neat idea. My grandmother lives part of the year in Solvang I may have to get a pair on my next visit.
