Dining Table Redo

I found this pretty damaged table and I thought I could do something with it. Have I told you I need to redo almost everything that falls into my hands?
First I sawed the legs because I wanted it to be kind of a coffee table. As this happened at my beginnings of redoing furniture I thought it would look good with a nice transfer on it, so I ripped it off, and then painted it white.
I found a cute image, enlarged it with Photoshop and transferred it. When it was done I sealed it with varnish and the table was on our living room for some time. The thing is that we have a quite long couch, so the table looked pretty “poor” in front of it but it was going to stay there until I found something I liked.
Nevertheless, it was my girls the ones really in love with that table; it was always full of crayons, papers, Legos and whatever they could find on their way. I am sure it was the right size for them, not so short as the standard you can find on shops, and wider… That made me think that the table needed to be for kids and had as many uses it could, so I decided to apply black handmade chalkboard paint on the top, and gray handmade chalk paint on the legs. Bingo!! All kids love that table.
