Easy
Today I'm sharing a super easy trick for making wood look like slate stone, and using it to transform an inexpensive hobby board into beautiful coasters! Read on to see how easy these were to make, and click over to my blog (www.build-basic.com) to get a free printable template!
1. Size the Coasters and Shape the Edges
2. Coat the Coasters with Paint
3. Make the Stencils
4. Remove the Stencils
What do you think? I just LOVE how the light mist of white creates a texture and contrasts with the chalky black finish!
