DIY Tutorial for TRUE Board and Batten

I have always loved the look of finished molding and have been wanting to attempt board and batten for a long time. We finally decided to give it a try in our kids bathroom and I love how it turned out. This is a tutorial for true board and batten. Many of the tutorials you will find don't include how to actually hang the "board" part, but because we have textured walls, we needed to finish the project off with the board and then added the battens. This DIY project took the weekend.
To get a full list of the measurements we used (complete with CAD drawing!) and the tools we used, please visit the original post.
This post is a good overview but there are some steps that were glossed over. Please visit the original post for the full tutorial.

Libby Grundstrom on Mar 30, 2016Very attractive and sophisticated. The photo only shows a corner but I like the height of the total board and batten - 2/3 up the wall. Also, no excuse for not hanging a towel when each child has a hook. Expertly executed project.
