I make perpetual calendars, family command center, office calendars, etc., out of all different types of tiles. It's so fun to find unique colors and tiles to coordinate with decor. These are reusable calendars as long as you use dry erase markers. My biggest disappointment is that I can't use limestone... I've tried all different kinds of sealers, but they just won't seal it enough for the dry erase markers to erase. {If anyone has any ideas on something I should try, I'd welcome advice!}
Stainless steel inner tiles and two of the top, glass top tile, stone surround with accents of stainless steel.
Ceramic inner tiles, porcelain top tile, and stone and marble surround.
Marble inners with stone surround
Glass inner tiles with slate and glass surround.
Marble inner, yellow onyx top (I LOVE) and glass and onyx surround.
So pretty... copper glass inner, wood-look porcelain top and slate surround with copper accents.
MY FAVORITE: hand painted glass tiles... These are soooo beautiful! Very tranquil colors!
This is one would be great in a man's office! It has a silver tone glass inner with a brown glass top and a silver and brown hued glass tile surround.
Marble inner, green larger glass top tile, with those beautiful hand painted glass tiles for the surround.
Another stainless and stone with glass top
Dark green glass tile inner with a large, lighter green hue glass top and hand painted glass surround that pulls all the colors together! Mounted on Wonderlite cement board, grouted, sealed and I put D rings for hanging on the back. Note: these are very heavy, so make sure you find those studs! Alternatively, you could use a tabletop easel for your kitchen counter, which is what I do. I use this at home to keep track of family work schedules and I also took one to my boutique to keep track of all the promotions going on in house! These make super gifts! Wow, this is so awesome. Just wondering if you can use the coating pen to write on this that can wipe away and rewrite on following month and date as well too. Would love to do this.... just love this.
I was wondering if you could get those little square tiles to mark the days, etc. and put a little magnet on the back? For the limestone tiles, that is.
This is a DIY site..... where can I find instructions to make my own? They are gorgeous... but, is this just an advertisement to buy one from your Etsy shop?
