DIY Chalkboard Sign

I made this large chalkboard sign with a sheet of bead board, pallet wood, hardware and chalkboard paint.
I picked up a piece of birch bead board from the hardware store. I chose this because the back was nice and smooth, it was cheap (about $11), it was thin and it was the size I was looking for. Then I painted the back with 2 coats of Rustoleum chalkboard paint.
I used some weathered pallet wood for the frame. I cut the boards down to size and placed them on my bead board.
Then I glued and clamped the boards down and let that dry.
When the glued was dry, I used corner brackets on the back to keep the frame in place. I used a picture hanging kit from the hardware store to hang it on the wall (no pic of this).
