Laundry Room Makeover, #fixerupperstyle
by

(IC: blogger)
We spend a lot of time in our laundry rooms, so why not make them pretty! When our old machines needed to be replaced and the new ones were on order (3-4 week wait), we knew this was the perfect time to redo this pretty nasty room. Out went the carpet and orange laminate shelving.
Wall to wall wood counters gives us lots of folding space.
With lots of cabinets, we have a place for everything.
Simple, no sew drop cloth curtains.
A sink for treating stains, cleaning my paintbrushes and Bella's muddy paws.
Hidden storage for all of the dirty laundry. Easy to access with drop cloth fabric clipped to a sliding rod.
The mail station.
Even the dog food bin looks good:)
The family scheduling station!

Hydrangea Home on Jan 19, 2015@Linda Anderson We used Minwax English Chestnut. I'm not sure if this counter would hold up in a kitchen with heavy use. They are only 3/4" thick. You may want to go with something heavier? jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage used the wood countertops from Ikea. See her kitchen here: http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/pages/Kitchen.htm
