A pretty table with purple and pink. I love using the led lights for a great glow at night. I love to entertain and make my guests feel special. Proper lighting does help as well.
I set the table with a rich dark eggplant tablecloth and pink dishware. matching pink and purple goblets to compliment the theme.
I always use pillow cases to cover my chairs. The chairs are a rich red, black and gold, so they don't always match my table theme. Try it sometime.
Butterfly napkin rings. I bought these pretty jeweled butterflies at the flea market. I made the napkin rings from pvc pipe. I covered them in dollar store jeweled ribbon.
Here, you can see the purple small led lights I used. The candle holders are purple from Zgallerie. Pink roses with purple are the centerpiece.
Notice my new purchase in the background. I will be using these silver and crystal candle holders in a future tablescape. I love the way they look. They were on sale, so that makes them perfect.

Linda on Aug 21, 2016Try it! You will be surprised. I started doing this years ago, when I wanted to use different colors for tablescape. The pillow cases work wonderful with our chairs. Pillow cases come in all different colors and textures. Satin, decorative. I buy them at Ross, discount store and a few at the Dollar Tree. I sometimes add chair sashes to give them a more decorative look.
