Late Summer Picture Frame Wreath

I have used these inexpensive plastic picture frames for wreaths in the past and decided it was time for a late Summer update. The wreath draws attention to the door from the street and this bouquet of late summer flowers and vegetables dresses it up.
I began with this frame that I had previously used for a Fourth of July Wreath. You can see that one at: http://celebrateanddecorate.com/fourth-july-diy-wreath/
Even plain, the solid white frame looks great against my dark green door.
I attached a piece of dry floral foam wrapped with chicken wire to the bottom of the frame.
I began to frame out my arrangement with long pieces of artificial flowers.
Then I began to fill in the space inside my outline with a variety of artificial flowers and greenery. Sunflowers are a great late summer flower to use.
Continue to build up the arrangement.
I finished by adding some pretty silk artichokes for more variety in texture. See more details at http://celebrateanddecorate.com/
