Gypsy Blending and Staining

Using DIY chalk paint Im having fun blending with bright colour.
I start with copper and added more colour.. This buffet is from Bali. When Bali furniture gets to Australia it often becomes out of shape with the difference in the moisture content in our air.. So she had to be a rustic girl.. I had some fun with her. I gave her a coat of gold glaze and flashy gypsy style handles.
Next was this rough hall table made from Jarrah. An Australian hard word.

The top was in bad shape and a very strange thing as it could pop out ! .. So We came up with a new top made from pine.
I stained into the top a yellow orchid. with walnut stain and a DIY yellow stain made from watered down paint.
Added some more gypsy style blending and sealed her with three coats of spray gloss lacquer.
