Heirloom Traditions Paint Challenge - Dog Bed End Table/cabinet

by Jon Hagemann
We found this 1970's 6-sided end table/cabinet at a flea market in Bristol, TN. Removed the door to create the opening for the dog bed. After a some light sanding, the end table/cabinet was painted using Heirloom Traditions paint from their Heritage Collection All In One Chalk Style Paint Color: Verdigris (green). This paint is awesome. Goes on very smooth and has a really nice finish when dry. It has the primer, paint and wax all in one! After painting the inside and out, used white chalk paint to highlight some of the details and groves on the top.
These are the before and after pics.

so cute ! I redid a childs toy box and did the same thing for my 2 Chihuahuas...it has a hinged top to make changing bedding easier..an old bed pillow...a fluffy throw? And I rarely see them anymore :)

Now I have to go and get one of those tables that I saw at the thrift store! My husband won't be thanking you, lol! (My dog, however, will be loving you big-time!)
