DIY Barbed Wire Wreath

People who live in the country and don't have a regular trash pick up service tend to be great recyclers! So for this project I'm repurposing old barbed wire into a wreath.
We started out with 8 pieces of 4 foot barbed wire we had sitting behind the shed. That is all we had but it might be just as easy with one large piece.
Each time we made a new loop we used zip ties to hold it together.
After is was as thick and as large as I wanted, the last piece of barbed wire was used to weave in an around to hold them all together. We used pliers to pinch the edges together before cutting off the plastic zip ties.
To finish it off, I added a bow by using scrap pieces of fabric. I love it and think it turned out perfectly. If you want to make one yourself, you can find more pictures and details on my blog. Just click on the link below.
