There is an easy way to spruce up a bare wall in your home. This diy is easy and budget friendly that after you make one for your wall, you would surely make another one to give as a gift.
This is how to make one.
Print out 4 kinds of leaves and cut them out to make as templates. I just did a freehand drawing of leaves. Use 4 different colors of felt fabric.
Trace the leaf template on the felt fabric and cut them out.
Cut out 4 kinds of leaves on each color of felt.
Paint some veins on the front of the leaves using acrylic paint.
While your paint is drying, get a twig or you can use a dowel. Cut the sisal string. I cut mine about 45 inches. Fold that in half and loop it around the twig and knot at the end.
You can use one color of sisal if you like. I used a green and a natural one so I alternated them on the twig.
Try to make a mock up of the placement of the leaves on the string. When you know where to place each leaf, use a glue gun to attach the leaves to the string.
String some beads a the end of each string then tie a knot.
All you have to do now is find the perfect spot in your home to hang this.
