This planter gave my front steps the perfect amount of "oomph" it needed. Not only does it allow me to display a variety of beautiful flowers at the same time, but my neighbors can't help but smile when they pass by my house now.
Line up five terra cotta pots in a spot you don’t mind getting messy and then start spraying. Cover each one in paint, making sure to get it from every angle so that there are no uncovered bits left over. I've figured out a way to do it so that I don’t get any drips or pooling (can you pick up on my technique?).
Next, fill your large pot with soil, then stick in your rod. Slide the pots on one by one, filling them as you go. Getting the right angle is important, but see in the video how I adjust them as I stack? It’s not too tough to get them at the right slant once you've got a feel for it.
Getting your flowers in at those angles requires a bit of maneuvering, but see what I did to the root ball? That helped a lot!
That’s all it takes! Get ready to love your porch ten times more.

None of your links were linked to anything and the "rod" wasn't explained, but I think I get the general Idea. Cute idea and love the color of the blue.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Do the pots come with holes in them for the rod to slide in?
Where do I get the 'rod'?
How tall do I get the rod?
Is 'rod' it's correct name when I'm looking for it at the store?
How do you drill the holes without breaking the pot?
Has anyone else had an issue of keeping the support rod scured enough to actually support the pots with dirt and a plant... Ibcohkd only manage to keep it somewhat stable by placing it in a corner and using the walls as a support. Without that I just ended up with a severely leaning tower of p.o.s....
