I really like the look of your house. Why not try to paint the awning the same color as your shutters? That way it would blend in better.
Paint it with a copper paint to give it more appeal.
I might pick up a can of Rustoleum's Hammered Metal Copper paint and give it a fresh look. You could use the leftover paint to do a mail box, house numbers, maybe a pot at the base of your stairs.
String lights around it.
I have one too. I will paint it black or antique bronze. I will also attempt to remove the scalloped edge and the scrolls. I had planned on boxing in the supports with wood, but other priorities came up, lol.

Cheap and easy way to cover aluminum awning posts
Call an awning co. and ask if you can paint it.
You have a beautiful home, I would just paint it.
Definitely paint it with an outdoor paint. you will have to do this often.... otherwise the current color is clashing. Making it to noticeable.
Love all the suggestions! Thanks
