Hello Lcweezee, Sometimes as flowers age they lose some of their color. It's just the way of Mother Nature. If you want to put color back into the blooms, try mixing a glass of water and food coloring. Then drape a cotton shoelace from the glass to the plant. Has to be cotton. This is a very "old school " method. I personally have never tried this but I have read about it.
Blooms only last so long, then they fade, wither and die. It is Mother Natures way. Deadhead the spent blooms to keep the plant producing more!
As they get older they fade, that's natural...........
