If anyone is interested in a tutorial, I'll be happy to go through it with you on how I folded this thrift store $2 book into my wife's name.
Firstly I bought an inexpensive book from a thrift store, with about 500 pages and a good quality cover under an outer jacket. I read the first page of the first chapter and decided it wasn't a best seller or worth reading - so now I had all my raw materials sorted, total cost $2
Next I found a Font I liked and set it out on the screen of my computer, then took a screen shot of it and dumped it on the computer desk top to use later.

I then went to Excel and highlighted the first row and selected all the cells in the row.
And formatted the height to make it = 409 high
Then made them all very narrow = 0.27 wide
I now had a lined grid of around 400 cells wide.
which had only 1 row about 200mm tall.

This gave me a lined grid to use to place the "word" that I had selected to use with reference lines.

The next step was easy, I just printed the whole thing out on an A4 piece of paper.

Then counted every cell (approximately 400 in total)
Found the middle pages of the book and counted backwards and forwards (as there are index pages and blank pages and extra pages without numbers, so you can't really just use the index to get the middle pages, otherwise it may be 50 or so pages out and will look a bit strange.
I just placed the name under the first page I wanted to start the folding from and commenced folding, it took all up about 9 hours to fold her name.
