My daughter makes crafty little gifts for her coworkers every year. This is what she is making this year.
First of all, you pull the labels off and wash all different sizes of aluminum cans
We bought this cute old fashioned looking contact paper.
Cut it to fit the different sized cans, pull off the backing and wrap it around the cans.
Stiffen some burlap by putting it on waxed paper and use a foam brush coat it with every crafter's favorite item-ModPodge! (We are using the waterproof version here, just because that is what we had)
Once the burlap is dry, pull it off the waxed paper and use a pattern to cut out different sizes of flower petals.
Then fill the cans 3/4 full of paper and then add a foam ball and moss around the edges, use hot glue if needed.
Use hot glue to glue the petals to each other and then attach them to the foam ball in the can.
There you have it, perfect little gifts for office coworkers at a very inexpensive price!
