Every now and then, I trip over a cleaning solution and love sharing them with you. I’ve battled with some lime or hard water stains in my bathroom and they’ve been driving me nuts. I’ve tried a few different products as well as a water-vinegar solution that just wasn’t working until I found this! If you need to remove lime and hard water stains you are going to love this easy solution too.
Actually, that crusty white stain I’ve been battling around my faucet it excess calcium and is usually nothing more than mineral deposits, but can be very frustrating to remove. I’ve tried a few different products and the next day, the stains would reappear.  Watch my video below that details exactly how I was able to get rid of my hard water stains easily!
I even tried a vinegar and water solution and that worked for a day or so until that annoying crusty stain resurfaced. Then, I thought well, I have this Lysol Lime & Rust Cleaner – let’s try that. Bam! It worked. And the best part is they have not reappeared! If they do come back, I know the fix takes a few easy minutes. At around $3.00 a bottle, it’s a pretty inexpensive fix too.

Many reviews where people used it to clean granite and marble damaging it. It cleans toilets well of course. I feel this is a bad choice of product to clean lime and rust on contertops without warning about not it using on granite or marble. You can Google it. I also read that it may be banned for sale due to people using it for other than it was meant to.

I used something like this to clean an expensive cook pan that my son used to continually boil water for his French press which left horrible deposits in my pan. I scrubbed, scrubbed and scrubbed some more. Put a little bathroom gel cleaner that had lime removal in the bottom of the pan for 2 minutes viola it was gone. Thanks for tip. Ignore the haters.
