Hi Barb. You could purchase solar lights from the dollar store. Then take the stake off of them and place the light on top of the bottle.
bottle tree 4x4 post with dowel rods on all 4 sides put in on an angle with cmas tree lights inside
BOTTLE TREES ARE NEAT. YOU'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO LOOK ON LINE FOR ONE.

How about turning them into solar lights?
To make a small bottle tree, buy a landscaping timber from home improvement store, drill holes in alternating pattern all over, don't forget at the very top. Insert cut off pieces of rebar. Dig hole and "plant" the timber. Place bottles on rebar! Insert some battery operated lights from dollar or hobby store (some of them come with timers!) Sit back and enjoy your fairy bottle tree!
I love the colour of the bottles! I think they'd look great as part of a centrepiece. I love this one: https://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2012/01/diy-planter-box-centerpiece.html

Wind chimes would be beautiful
I think the bottles would make more of an impact if grouped, however you use them. Either as lighting or as holders for flowers. If you do light them say with Xmas tree lights, blue lights would make a bigger impact than white or multi colored.
Before you start, do some research... Blue bottles are rarely made anymore, They may have value to them and someone may be willing to buy them (OK, that someone May be YOU!)
