A Surprising Storage Solution

I have too much storage, said no one ever icon But storage can be oh, so boring. So with that in mind I thought I'd try combine pretty farmhouse decor with some secret storage. Can you guess what this beauty is hiding?
It's not soil or even blankets, although it could be used for that too. Nope, the topiary bucket stores all my fabric paints.
And the topiary "lid" flips open using the bucket handle as the hinge. I simply used some twine to sew the topiary to the handle.
By using a thread bar and two wooden discs that fit snugly inside the bucket, I created a tiered stand that can be taken out every time I want to use the paints. It really makes it so much easier.
I just had to make sure that the thread bar wasn't too long to prevent the bucket handle from moving over it with ease.
We've used buckets, disguised as decor, to store all kinds of things at home. We have one in the bathroom for cleaning products and another one outside that stores our small gardening tools. No-one would ever guess what's inside icon What unusual things have you used to store you're stuff? I'd love to hear about it in the comments and if you'd like to see the full tutorial on how to make a tiered stand, I've added the link below.

Very cool and I especially love the wire and screw "fence". I'm going to use that idea when I "re-model" my Gnome garden.

I love your idea for using the "fence" in a real fairy garden. Do you have a piccy of your gnome garden to share?
