My daughter loves to bring me little flowers she collects when she plays outside, but I do not have any vases small enough for her to place them in, so I decided to make one!
I started with a plank of cedar wood that I drilled holes into and a few mini green bottles I had kept just because they were so cute!
I started out by etching the bottle with Etchall Dip n Etch liquid. I wanted the bottles to have a weathered look like they have been tumbled in the ocean for a while. It only takes 15 minutes of soaking to go from a glossy to etched and gives them the most amazing tumbled look.
I then added a bit of the jute rope to the top of each bottle with the Supertite Multi-Grab 360 glue to give each bottle a rustic look.
I the attached the bottles to the plank with the Suptertite glue and added a rope to the bottom of the jars to match the top.
I secured the rope in the back with the glue to make sure it did not come undone or loose.

Great idea for our travel trailer where counter space is very limited. And since I would use very small bottles and a small board too, it wouldn’t take up very much wall space either. Thank you for this great idea. I love displaying flowers. This gives me a new way to do that.
