This Charming Little Retro Frame Has Become a Victorian Key Wall Chart
I like to divert objects from their original function and magically they become a new unexpected object, both useful and decorative. Vintage, kitsch and toys are some of my favorite themes. Here I associated a frame that I found on my way to a toy figurine to create this:
It is an oval frame decorated in resin and wood and adorned by me in a shaby chic style with ribbons in small knots, gilding birds, colored varnish and sequins on all rosebuds.
With a wink of a Princess Playmobil umbrella to remind you that we live in a temperate climate and you will not be caught off guard every time you take your umbrella with your keys.
The figure is screwed through the bottom of the frame, and its plastic protection. The back of the frame is securely covered with a thick cardboard and a wall fastener is provided. At the bottom, on the back of the Playmobil frame, an invisible wood lattice holds three screw hooks waiting for your keys or necklaces.
We start by putting on the frame the plasticized bottom, the red background and the hardback
we drill through and screw the figurine
we stick the golden stickers
we polish the flowers and we put glitter
cut the bottom of the cardboard and glue the wooden lath
we glue the wood
we drill and screw the three hooks and the wall fastener
It's over, we have upcycled a photo frame in a wall decoration hooks unique key
