Entertainment Center to a Dollhouse
My first blog... forgive me
This was my attempt to turn an entertainment center i got at a thrift shop to a dollhouse... the whole project only was only $15.
Entertainment center i got for $5 at a thrift shop (sorry, its upside down)
I added a shelf and a support piece in the large section
I spay painted the back... temporarily put it up and outlined the interior walls.
I took it down and put wrapping paper in random places with adhesive spray
After painting the inside walls and floor white, i added the wrapping paper to ranom rooms, making sure to color coordinate it with the wall colors.
I found it to be easier to cut the piece oversized then trim it with a utility knife
I added the roof by radomly picking a slope that wasnt too high...
I nailed it together in the middle then marked one inch up on each side for the overhand and set it in place evenly...
The center was 14" inches deep, i made the roof 18" deep, and let the four inches stick out of the front like a porch overhang
I added trim to the edges
Painted stripes to tie in the colors
Attached the back, and
WA-LAA
Its about 4 feet wide and 5 feet tall... not to bad
First blog.... forgive me
