Discarded treasure renewed for my wonderful Mother-in-law.

A child's bench left next to the road for trash, I saw potential.
It was missing a arm, the wicker seat was trashed and the countless coats of paint were peeling away.
Started by taking the wicker bench out and discarded it.
Then the tedious process of getting rid of paint. I figured let's go natural, I see a lot of posts that dislike painting real wood.
Then traced and cut a replacement arm from some scrap that I had in my garage.
Couldn't think of a easy way to strip the back dowels so I decided on paint. The rest is a mahogany gel stain by minwax.
And the finish product, a metallic sea foam paint on the dowels and a fabric seat to match. My mother in law should love it.
This is 3rd piece I have saved from the trash and with a little elbow grease and some inspiration trash can become a treasure.
