How to Felt a Bowl! Part 5 of My Wet Felting Techniques

What is Resist Felting? One of Webster’s definitions for ‘Resist’ is: to try to stop or prevent (something). That’s exactly what it means here. A Resist in the felting sense, is a barrier which keeps fibers from felting together.
You don’t need previous wet felting experience to complete this project, however it is helpful. You may want to take a look at my Basic Felting Tutorial.

To make my wet felted bowl in this tutorial, I used heavy builder’s plastic as a resist. You could also use bubble wrap.
Supplies Needed:
Basic steps:
Wet it down, flip it over and repeat.
Add decorations
Felt/full
Remove resist and continue felting
Voila!
Some hidden fun on the bottom! Have fun!
