Gather Your Supplies:
- Terra Cotta Pots
- Matte Mod Podge
- 1″ X 3″ fabric strips (I cut 1/8 yard), quilting cotton works great!
- Foam Brush
- Small Bowl
STEP ONE:
Brush a layer of Mod Podge along the top edge of your pots, overlapping to the inside of the pot about 1″, and dropping about 1″ below the outside edge. Add fabric strips on top of the Mod Podge. Applying fabric to 3″ sections works well.
STEP THREE:
Working horizontally, brush on Mod Podge and add the fabric strips around the bottom part of the pot.
STEP FIVE:
Apply Mod Podge all over the outside of the pot. Don’t be sparing here, but be sure to wipe away drips. Let the pot dry for 24 hours.
And you are done!
Make a few of these for an adorable set to place in a windowsill. This project is perfect for a girl’s craft night: not only is it simple, but it is also inexpensive to make!
Happy DIYing, Friends!
