your dogs might have fleas-better take to the vet for them to dip the dogs in 'flea dip' or at least tell you what is causing their 'itching'-if it is fleas, you will have to de-flea their beds and probably any place they stay

The vet can also give you a medication to get rid of mites. It is a monthly medication for mites, fleas and ticks. Prescription is usually needed.

  • Time for the vet! Prescription will be needed. If fleas, get ready to start cleaning from top to bottom.

Time for a visit to the vet. If you get a flea infestation it will effect the whole house.

I second time for the vet. It could be fleas, an allergy or even canine being lice (ewwwww). Treatment is different based on the source.

My dog was very itchy. She didn't have mites or fleas. The Petsmart lady asked if we were feeding her "chicken dog food." Well, yes we were. She told us to switch to lamb dog food and it was like a miracle.

it could be a number of things from food allergies to mites, fleas, a rule of thumb is if you dont know what it is ,consult vet, peace of mind is priceless .i have found for fleas in carpet to sprinkel table salt on carpet let stand for 12 hrs then vacum it will kill flea eggs on contact, now if its flea mites in ears go to pet section and get meds for this twice a day for a week, but first a vet , the dogs deserve the best care.

Do you bathe them alot? what shampoo? maybe they just have itchy dry skin or not getting rinsed well, don't use flea shampoos too much, dogs can have allergies to flea meds/shampoos, use mild shampoo like baby shampoo and good conditioner like pantene ; if it's mites or fleas need to get them to vet
