What kind of glue?
Try using a scraper razor. Be sure to wet the area first so you don't scratch the glass. You can use glass cleaner to wet it.
Razor Blade
Razor blade.
Scrape off what you can with a razor blade. Then use nail polish remover. Will remove all super glues and polyurethane based glue. As a woodworker don't like gorilla glue. I'll stick with Locktite, Titebond. Epoxy.
I would use a razor, maybe try using the razor of a box cutter for safety of the hands.
Definitely a straight edged razor blade or utility knife. Make sure its new so it is super sharp and angle it.
A job cleaner blade.
