Hi there, Sorry I can only think you might want to use it to hold small amounts of paint when you want to make a multi coloured or paint a picture onto the cabinet doors. I can't see a practical way to actually use the tins in a door design............
Carolyn...You can spray paint and just lay them in drawer and use for rubber bands, tacks, nails, paper clips, just small items.
Muffin tins are great to use for that junk drawer that has a variety of unrelated items. Spare change, bread tabs, marbles, etc.
