How do I rid poison ivy naturally?
I have a garden area with a few bushes and ground cover. Mixed in is poison ivy. How do I get rid of that naturally? Can I target where the root is and not damage other flora?

You can also pull the plant out by the roots. Wear gloves and protective clothing. Make sure you wash the gloves and clothes in hot water after you use them (or use disposables, in the case of the gloves). The hot, soapy water will help remove the plant oils.

Suit up, dig out at the roots, treat area with agricultural strength vinegar. I am going to visit my friend next week, and this is always one of the chores we tackle.
3 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup table salt
1 tablespoon liquid detergent or soap (I use Dawn) for stick-to-itiveness.
Directions
Repeat as necessary.
