It is Astilbe/ a genus of 18 species of rhizomatous flowering plants within the family Saxifragaceae, native to mountain ravines and woodlands--some species are known by the common names False Goat's Beard and False Spirea. It is a Perennial, semi shade woodland. Astilbe is both rabbit and deer resistant – they prefer not to eat it. one of the most sought after plants for shade-semi shade gardens. Spent/dead plumes can be cut back in spring or left alone for winter interest, virtually maintenance free plants for gardens. They can also be divided about every four years as needed. The plumes are sold for wedding table decor ; pricing for them is high ---5 Bunches | 50 Stems. $95.99. ( $19.20 per bunch ) 10 Bunches | 100 Stems. $175.99. ( $17.60 per bunch ) 15 Bunches l 150 Stems. $249.99. ( $16.67 per bunch ) 20 Bunches | 200 Stems. $335.99. ( $16.80 per bunch ),make great cut flowers-florists use them in arrangements;a 1 gallon container at big box store averages $10.00; if you do not want them in garden sell them online.
Not poison ivy or a weed(well weed means "plant not wanted"...so I guess it could be for Toni & Kdeenic)
the ones with the loose fluffy leaves are Larkspur, an annual delphinium. One of the few blue flowers other than sage, salvia or borage. let it self seed in the fall and enjoy next year. Also comes in pink and white. the other ones are indeed astilbe.
