Hi, Eileen!
I use a Mr. Clean Stain Eraser... It takes a little elbow grease but works really well! I hope this helps!
COKE
I've used Aunt Fanny's vinegar gel to remove the film or Scrubbing Bubbles. Then, to maintain it, I keep a squeegee in the shower and squeegee the glass before getting out. I rarely have build-up.
I will give these a shot. Thanks!
I use soft scrub and a scrubby.
I use a bunch of used fabric softener sheets saturated with vinegar.
I use a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Combine and mix until it's a paste. Use a cloth to apply it. Wipe away with damp cloth after about 10 minutes.
I use Mr Clean Magic Erasers you wet them and then scrub off the soap scum and if you will use a squeege to get water off after you shower it will help eliminate the stains
Believe it or not I use a cheap shampoo from the dollar store. It gets the hard water stains out and all the soap scum. Make sure you rinse well and dry the door right after showering. That will prevent water marks.
Tear them out like I did because you can never get them back to the original look. At least with shower curtains, you can change them often, or not. All depending on the look you want to achieve.
I tried every known cleaner, from cheap to expensive, probably more than $200, and still ended with the same UNHAPPY result of cloudy doors.
Good luck, though.
Hello Eileen,
Use a Limescale cleaner. (Look in the Bathroom cleaner Isle).
How old are the shower doors? Is the glass scratched or nicked at all?
It may be that they are just too discoloured and worn down due to simply having been exposed to soaps and hard water over the years.
Try Awesome from the Dollar store. Only $1.00. Spray on, wipe with a plastic scrubber for the kitchen and rinse well. If that doesn't take it all off, which it should use Bio Cleaner paste. That takes off burnt food from a glass cooktop stove.
