Arm on chair
How can I cover an office chair?
Office chair needs some help, works wonderfully mechanically but the cheap look alike leather material is peeling off. Any ideas that is simple besides buying a new one?

You can buy kits at the home improvement stores for repairing tears in leather and faux leather, but that might be a little much. If it were me though, I would try it! We had a big tear in our leather furniture and our oldest sons new coat and it repaired both of them! You could NOT tell it had been mended. Just follow the instructions. If I can do it, anyone can!
You could consider making a little slip cover to just cover up the seat. The pic I'm attaching is amazing but I think it would be possible to make one just for your seat that doesn't require any sewing.

Wrap it in black tape :)
Simple fix black duct tape.
If you wear dirty grubby coveralls when your using it that will make it seem nicer than the worn out grubby piece of junk it is. It doesn’t need some help you do if you think that it will ever look like more than a worn out piece of junk.
I doubt if a slip cover that is not made from individual pieces sewn together would stay on a chair of this shape.
If you want to go the duct tape route, check out tons of different patterns available on eBay.
