How can I make new globes for a lamp so it can be usable again (pic)?
I have this lovely lamp base that the globes were broken during a move. I love this stand and have not been able to bring myself to discard it. Any ideas on how to make shades or globe that would make this useful again and let the lovely shapes show??

If you can find a salvage store in your area or lamp store you could find globes that way-

Hello there, Don't worry, go to the Large DIY store and replace your Globes with new! Maybe not the same but just as attractive! or try Charity shops etc. or eBay....
Good luck!
I agree with both John and Cheryl
Depending on your style, you could replace with more of a basket-type "globe", made of open metal, not glass. There are many similar projects here on Hometalk. Check Pinterest for ideas, too!
If neither Home Depot nor Lowe's nor other stores in your area carry them, try Renovator's Supply, lamp stores, and as a last resort you can have them custom made by a glass manufacturer or glass blower.
Do you have the measurements of the shade needed or a pic before it was broken? This site may help

Once you can identify the type/style of shade you want and the inside rim measurements, you can search for more affordable replacements if you'd like.
I would try a renovators site, but they can be pricey. also if you have a architectural supply store in your area they may be able to help you or a store that repairs and sells lamp parts.
Lowes, Home Depot, and Menard's carry all sorts of globes.
