If you are like I am, then a daily reminder board is a must. Tired of sticking stickies to the door leading to the garage, I decided there had to be a better way to remind myself of family events and things that needed to be done.

The garage door before it became a memory jogger. I did paint the door before hand with an white enamel paint that easily wipes away dirt and stains.

This is the chalkboard contact paper that I bought from Amazon. I measured the inset of the door and cut the vinyl paper to the correct size. This paper is great to use because it has a grid backing, so it is easy to cut it straight.

Here the vinyl chalkboard paper is in the process of being peeled and smoothed flat. I really like how the inside decorative insert of the door makes the chalkboard paper look like it is framed.

The last step is to add your reminders! I also bought liquid chalk pens from Amazon. I attached a metal basket to the wall next to the door to store the pens in.
